HOW TO BOIL OR STEAM LOBSTER

To cook your live lobster, you can either boil it or steam it. For boiling, fill a large pot with water and a few teaspoons of sea salt, bring it to a boil, and add the lobsters headfirst. Boil for about 7-10 minutes for a 1-pound lobster, adding 2-3 minutes for each additional pound. For steaming, place the lobsters on a rack in a pot with a little water, cover, and steam for about 15 minutes.
